Torchwood Golden Age Radio Adventure Details

BBC Audio have recently released some information regarding the second of this year’s special Torchwood radio adventures. The story will be titled ‘Golden Age’ and it will be written by James Goss. John Barrowman, Eve Myles and Gareth David Lloyd will all star in the audio adventure and they will voice their respective characters; Jack, Gwen and Ianto. The adventure will have an approximate running time of an hour and it will also be released on CD later this year. You can view the adventure's CD cover above and view its synopsis below;

The Torchwood team head for Delhi on the trail of a dangerous energy field, in Golden Age, written by James Goss, the second part of this brand-new series of extraterrestrial investigations starring John Barrowman, Eve Myles and Gareth David-Lloyd. As the energy field grows once more, the team witness the simultaneous disappearance of hundreds of people and Jack discovers that the field centres on an old colonial mansion – Torchwood India. Shocked to find that Torchwood India is still going strong, since he shut it down himself more than 80 years ago, Jack is even more surprised to find that its members, including his old flame, the Duchess, haven't aged a day.

Golden Age will broadcast on the second of July at 2:15pm on BBC Radio Four. It will follow Asylum which will air on the first of July and precede The Dead Line which will air on the third of July. Asylum and The Dead Line will also both air on BBC Radio Four and like with Golden Age, their transmission times will also be 2:15pm.
