New David Tennant Chicago Tribune Interview

By Mark
David Tennant, who plays the current incarnation of The Doctor, recently took part in an interview with Chicago Tribune and the interview has now been published online. In the interview, David discusses many things including; this year's remaining three special episodes of Doctor Who and his upcoming appearance in the third series of The Sarah Jane Adventures. An extract from this interview can be viewed below;

Is the general plan for the last specials to be broadcast around Christmas time?
"I believe so. I mean, these things can always change. But that's the plan at the moment. 'Planet of the Dead' has already aired here, 'Water of Mars' will be towards the end of the year, as it leads into the final two-parter [that concludes Tennant's run.]. The plan for those is Christmas-New Year's time, but they'll be very secretive about what their plans are until the last minute. They keep us all guessing."

You can read this interview with David in full here on Chicago Tribune's official website. David Tennant has played The Doctor for many years now and in this year's final special, we will see the 10th Doctor in circumstances which will lead up to his regeneration. Before this year's remaining three specials, we will also see The Doctor make an appearance in the upcoming third series of The Sarah Jane Adventures and you can view more information about that here in a previous post. BBC America...with no fanfare or announcement...aired "The Next Doctor" on Saturday night. There was also a brief clip of "Planet of the Dead," which BBC America will air sometime around Torchwood: Children of Earth. Seems the Doctor is getting short-shrift as they promote Torchwood into the ground.

Something to say?
