The 408th issue of Doctor Who Magazine was released today and it is now available in all good newsagents across the United Kingdom and Ireland at the price of £3.99. This month's issue takes a look behind the scenes of the Easter special 'Planet of the Dead' and features exclusive interviews with many of the episode's cast including; David Tennant and Michelle Ryan. In Doctor Who Magazine 408, DWM recounts the tales of what happened when the Doctor Who team filmed in Dubai... and catches up David Tennant, as he looks forward to his final adventures the Doctor.

Does David reckon he’ll be sentimental on his last day as the Doctor? “I don’t know how I’ll feel when I get there,” he says. “It’ll probably be very scrutinised. I don’t know if the last day will be anything like the last in story terms. Usually you’re so out of sequence that your final scene is something very unimportant – walking down the street or opening a door – so time will tell. But it’s – what? – 12 weeks away, so I’ll cope. I’ll find ways of coping.”

An article looking at the third incarnation of The Doctor, as portrayed by Jon Pertwee, will also be included in the issue along with many other features and more information about the issue will be posted as soon as it becomes available.
