The nominations for the 35th annual Broadcasting Press Guild Awards have recently been revealed and David Tennant is one of the nominees. David has been nominated for the 'Best Actor' award for his role as The Doctor in Doctor Who and his portrayal of Arthur Eddington in Einstein & Eddington. He is up against two other actors and they are; Kenneth Branagh and Ben Whishaw. Kenneth Branagh is well known for his role as Kurt Wallander in Wallander whereas Ben Whishaw is well known for his role as Ben Coulter in Criminal Justice. Einstein and Eddington, the one-off programme in which David Tennant starred, is also up for the 'Best Single Drama' award. The winners of these awards will be announced at the Theatre Royal on the twenty seventh of March and previous winners of the 'Best Actor' award include Christopher Eccleston and Philip Glenister.
