National Television Award Nominations

The nominations for this year's National Television Awards have recently been revealed and we now know that there are two Doctor Who related nominations and three Torchwood related nominations this year. Doctor Who and Torchwood have both been nominated in the category for 'Best Drama' and they will compete against many other shows including; Spooks, Merlin, Heroes and Primeval. David Tennant, John Barrowman and Eve Myles have all received nominations for this year's 'Best Drama Performance' award and they are nominated alongside; Freema Agyeman, Colin Morgan, Alex Kingston and Bradley Walsh who have all appeared in episodes of Doctor Who, Torchwood or The Sarah Jane Adventures as well. Freema, Colin, Alex and Bradley have however been nominated for their roles in other programmes as different characters. The award ceremony will take place in January next year and it will be hosted at the 02 Arena in London. You can submit your votes here online and voting will close on the thirtieth of September. The results for this year's award ceremony will be posted here on site as soon as they are publicly announced.
