John Barrowman, who is well known for his role as Captain Jack Harkness in both Doctor Who and Torchwood, has made it into this week's top forty singles chart with his cover of 'I Made It Through The Rain'. The song is the highest new entry for this week and its chart success is largely down to Chris Moyles who asked fans and listeners of his radio show to download the song and help get John Barrowman into the music chart this week. John's version of 'I Made It Through the Rain' is one of the tracks on his latest album, 'Music, Music, Music', and it's a cover of the original which was recorded and performed by Barry Manilow.
