Doctor Who The Dalek Collection DVD Set

By Mark
After the release of the Cybermen collection earlier this year, 2 Entertain have now revealed their plans to release some of the Doctor's adventures involving the Daleks as a DVD set in two months time. At the moment, it is unknown which stories will feature on the DVD set but speculation suggests that it will be; Dalek, Bad Wolf, The Parting of the Ways, Army of Ghosts, Doomsday, Daleks in Manhattan, Evolution of the Daleks, The Stolen Earth and Journey’s End. This hasn't however been confirmed but we do know that a special episode of Doctor Who Confidential taking a look at the Daleks will be included as a bonus feature on the box set. The Dalek Collection will be released in the United Kingdom on the nineteenth of October and it will go on sale at an RRP of £15.99. More details about the DVD and the front cover for the set will be posted here on this site as soon as they become publicly available. Will you be buying a copy of this DVD when it's released later this year?

I haven't watched the new series of Doctor Who that closely but have been a big fan of john and torchwood! i was wondering if you think this would be a good thing for me and James to watch while curling up on the sofa, eating chocolates and passionatly kissing - oh no im in a lush little fantasy now, silly me! do you think i should buy it?

The Cybermen Collection looked all very well and glossy, but you can purchase entire series for 25 now, and pretty pointless for regular buyers.
The BBC should continue releasing on the UMD format.

Thanks for your comments Sue, Harry and Anonymous, welcome to the site.

Sorry that I didn't get round to publishing your message Harry. I've been on days out with the family recently and therefore have been a bit busier than usual but have published it now. Yeah, I think it'd be a great DVD for you and James to buy or you could always buy any complete series box set of Doctor Who on DVD. I hope you have a great time watching them and thanks for your comments. :)
