According to overnight ratings, the second episode of Torchwood's third series was watched by a total of 5.6 million people last night which gave the episode an audience share of 24.0%. The episode, Day Two, was the most watched programme of the day and managed to the maintain the high figures that the season's first episode received on Monday. An unconfirmed amount of people also watched Day Two, the second part of Children of Earth, in high definition on the BBC's HD channel and final figures for the episode will be released in ten days time by BARB. It's likely that the episode's final figures will be significantly higher than these overnight ratings and they will be posted here on this site as soon as they become available and are publicly announced.
