Planet of the Dead DVD Cover
2 Entertain have recently released an image of the official cover for the upcoming Planet of the Dead DVD and it can be viewed above here on this site thanks to Doctor Who Online. Planet of the Dead is the latest episode of Doctor Who and it aired for the first time last Saturday at 6:45pm on BBC One. Bionic Woman and Merlin star Michelle Ryan plays the mysterious Lady Christina de Souza who joins the Doctor on a bus-trip which takes a very unexpected detour into danger. British comedy star Lee Evans also joins the cast playing a character called Malcolm whose life becomes connected to the Doctor's under extraordinary circumstances and Noma Dumezweni returns as Captain Erisa Magambo - last seen helping save the world in Turn Left.
This DVD is scheduled for release on the twenty ninth of June and it will go on sale in all good entertainment stores at an RRP of £15.99. At the moment, it is unknown if 2 Entertain have plans to release Planet of the Dead in a DVD box set along with the remaining three specials but we'll keep you updated here on this site with all the latest information as soon as it becomes available.
