Doctor Who BAFTA Craft Award Nominations

By Mark
The British Academy of Film and Television Arts have recently revealed the nominations for this year's BAFTA Craft Awards and we now know that Doctor Who has been nominated in three different categories. Russell T Davies has been nominated in the writing category for his work on the episode 'Midnight' and this follows Steven Moffat's nomination in this category last year for his episode 'Blink'. The Mill, who create the computer generated images seen in Doctor Who, Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures, are also up for an award this year and they have been nominated in the visual effects category for their work on the episode 'The Fires of Pompeii'. The third and final nomination is in the editing category and that goes to Philip Kloss for his work on 'The Doctor's Daughter' and 'Midnight'. This year's ceremony marks the tenth anniversary of the BAFTA Craft Awards and it will be hosted by Alexander Armstrong who is the voice of Mr Smith in The Sarah Jane Adventures. It will take place on the seventeenth of May in London and the results will be posted here on this site as soon as they become publicly available.
