Last night, a massive fifty seven million pounds was raised for Comic Relief and this money will go to help those in poverty and disadvantaged situations but remember it's never too late for you to donate as money is collected in all year around. As well as introducing various different sketches including the specially recorded scene from The Sarah Jane Adventures, David also took part in a special edition of Mastermind last night. He went head to head with Davina McCall, his co-presenter, and picked his specialist subject as Doctor Who. You can view this Comic Relief edition of Mastermind below;

As well as appearing on the actual telethon itself, David also made a brief appearance on last night's special Comic Relief edition of 'Top of the Pops'. He joined Franz Ferdinand on stage playing a guitar and introduced James Morrison's exclusive acoustic performance of 'Broken Strings'. If you missed this special edition of 'Top of the Pops' then don't worry as it will be repeated tonight at 10pm on BBC Two. A highlights show of last night's Comic Relief telethon, featuring all the best moments, will then follow at 10:35pm and that will have an approximate running time of fifteen minutes.
