Comic Relief's Overnight Ratings

By Mark
Overnight ratings for this year's official Comic Relief telethon, which aired last Friday and started broadcasting at 7pm, have recently been made available. The first one hour and a half of the show, which was presented by both David Tennant and Davina McCall, had an average of 9.2 million viewers and this will be the approximate overnight viewing figure for Sarah Jane's special comic relief adventure. David and Davina's part of the telethon peaked at around 8pm with a total of 11.3 million viewers whereas the most watched part of the whole event was at 9pm with 12.7 million people watching. These are just overnight ratings and official figures will be released sometime next week. They are likely to be higher than these overnight ratings and they will posted here on this site as soon as they become available. You can view highlights of the Comic Relief event here and view the special Comic Relief episode of The Sarah Jane Adventures here. What do you think of these ratings for this year's Comic Relief telethon?
