An Interview With Matt Smith

Last night's episode of Doctor Who Confidential featured an interview with Matt Smith who will be taking on the role of the Eleventh Doctor in 2010. An extended version of the interview was also uploaded onto the BBC's official Doctor Who website and you can view that here or below;

This interview is approximately 5 minutes and 41 seconds long. In the interview, Matt talks about many things including; how he feels about being cast as the Eleventh Doctor, what his initial reaction was like and whether or not he has read any of the scripts for Doctor Who series five.     I'm pleasantly surprised by the choice. Surprised because I expected Paterson Joseph to get the part. As for Matt Smith himself. Well, from the interview alone he does have charisma. I quite like how he twitters his fingers when he says exciting. Seems like something the Doctor might do. He is SO different from Tennant, but I guess that's the point. Proof will be in the pudding though, his first episode a year from now.
