By Mark
More rumours about next year's Doctor Who specials are being reported in the media and The Sun recently ran an article claiming that the 8th Doctor, played by Paul McGann, will be appearing in one of the episodes. Paul played The Doctor in the 1996 TV Movie and has since appeared in several Doctor Who Big Finish audio adventures. You can read the article on The Sun's website here. According to Digital Spy, a spokeswoman for Doctor Who recently said that there is no truth to the story at all. The article posted on Digital Spy can be viewed here.

Cool Post. Shame the BBC said he isn’t returning. I wouldn’t have mind a kind of story arc during the Four specials (Discluding the Cyberman one) in which the Tenth Doctor is tempted to tell the Eighth about the Devastating Time War but in the end cant bear it and doesn’t tell him anything

I am not sure about Tennant, as he is busy doing Shakesphere in 2009.

Something to say?
