As reported in yesterday's post Doctor Who won three TVQuick/TVChoice awards this year. David won the award for best actor but unfortunately couldn't attend the ceremony as he was busy performing on stage as Hamlet. Bernard Cribbins took the award on his behalf and David's acceptance speech can be seen below;

Catherine Tate also won the award for Best Actress and Doctor Who won the award for Best Loved Drama. The event took place at London's Dorchester Hotel and John Barrowman, star of Doctor Who and Torchwood, was also in attendance. You can read more about this year's TVQuick/TVChoice awards here.
