The Sontaran Games Cover and Details

Along with the cover, information regarding the next Doctor Who Quick Read novel has now been released. Written by Jacqueline Rayner, the title of the book is The Sontaran Games and The Doctor will travel alone in this story. The synopsis for the book can be seen below;

Every time the lights go out, someone dies...

The TARDIS lands at an academy for top athletes, all hoping to be chosen for the forthcoming Globe Games. But is one of them driven enough to resort to murder? The Doctor discovers that the students have been hushing up unexplained deaths.

Teaming up with a young swimmer called Emma, the Doctor begins to investigate – but he doesn’t expect to find a squad of Sontarans invading the academy!

As the Sontarans begin their own lethal version of the Globe Games, the Doctor and Emma must find out what’s really going on. But the Doctor is captured and forced to take part in the Sontaran Games. Can even a Time Lord survive this deadly contest?

Set for release on the 26th February, the book will go on sale at the price of £1.99. It will be available in paperback and will join the past three quick read books; I am a Dalek, Made of Steel and Revenge of the Judoon on the shelves. Will you be buying The Sontaran Games when it's released?

    Cool Post. The Cover looks great. Sontarans in my opinion are one of the best Monsters created for Doctor Who mainly because when introduced to viewers they already knew the back story by the end of the story in 1973. I cant wait to get this, but need Revenge first.

    Cool post, this books looks and sounda good, its good that the Sontarans are being in the Whoniverse more, as they are one of my favourite villians!

    I Hope the plot isnt to simple like the previous quick reads but any thing sontaran and im in!
