Partners in Crime Viewing Figures

By Mark
The picture above was made by me.
Despite being shown at the earlier time of 6:20pm, the first episode of Doctor Who Series 4, Partners In Crime, was watched by 8.4 million people with an audience share of 39.4% according to overnight ratings. The final figures will be released by BARB in nine days. The episode achieved an Appreciation Index (AI) figure of 88 which is great as most programs on BBC1 and ITV1 receive an AI figure of 77. This figure places Partners in Crime in the "excellent" category. Overnight figures suggest Doctor Who Confidential was watched by 0.89 million people.
In other news we now know that the ninth episode of Doctor Who will no longer be called "River's Run" and has now changed it's title to "Forest of the Dead".
What do you think of Partners in Crime's viewing figures?
