Doctor Who Comedy Night

A Doctor Who themed comedy show is to be shown at this years Edinburgh Festival Fringe to try and raise more money for the david-tennant.com auction, raising money for ACCORD in memory of Helen Mcdonald.

The gig will take place at the Laughing Horse, (Fringe Venue 56), on Saturday 18th August from 9.10pm - 10.10pm. Those attending will be asked to donate £10, with all the money going to the ACCORD hospice where Mrs McDonald worked for many years, and where she spent her final days. This is a night late show and not acceptable for Under 18's, you have the be 18 or older to attend the Doctor Who Comedy Show.

Some of the Comedians taking part in the show are Mitch Benn, Bill Bruce and Toby Hadoke.
The Fundraising Manager for ACCORD, Ken Mathie said;
"Everyone associated with ACCORD has been extremely moved by the public reaction to Helen’s passing. She was such a lovely person and will be sorely missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. This show is a wonderful example of the support we are receiving from fans of Doctor Who and I wish all the comedians involved every success"

£9,000 has been raised so far for ACCORD in memory of Helen Mdconald. You can still donate money towards for ACCORD in memory of Helen Mcdonald here, please do and you are asked not to mention David Tennant to protect his privacy.
Congratualtions to everyone involved on raising the amount of money they have, and Good luck to the people performing in the Doctor Who Comedy Night.
