Information: The Reaper’s appeared in “Father’s Day” where Rose saved her father, Pete Tyler’s life. Reapers are attracted to Paradoxes when someone changes history. They then kill everything in sight to try and “Sterilise” the wound, making the Paradox no more.
The Reapers would disappear if the timeline was restored, and everything went back to normal. Therefore Pete Tyler had to run in front of the car to save the world, the Reapers disappearing. The Reapers have scythe like tails, which refers to the original design of “Grim Reaper”.
When just about to kill, the Reapers glow a bright orange, can be seen below.

The Reapers are extra dimensional and dematerialise and rematerrialise outside the Spacetime Vortex. With large wings and a mouth on their torso, the Reapers are a vicious enemy to confront.
