Freema Agyeman is set to appear in 5 episodes of Doctor Who Series 4 as Martha Jones, this has been confirmed by Julie Gardener, a Doctor Who Producer.
5 episodes is a good amount of episodes and personally I think it gives us time to learn more about Donna. My guess is these 5 episodes will be the last five episodes of Doctor Who Series 4. Therefore I think she will start on Episode 9 and carry on for the rest of the series.
