Doctor Who The Waters of Mars Official Ratings

The final ratings for The Waters of Mars, the latest episode of Doctor Who, have recently been released by BARB and we now know that the episode was watched by a total of 10.32 million people. Most viewers, 9.94 million of them, watched the adventure on BBC One but an additional 376,000 people also watched the story on the BBC's high definition channel instead. These figures gave BBC HD their best rating yet making The Waters of Mars the most watched programme on their channel to date. The Waters of Mars was the fifth most watched programme for the week of its transmission and it was also BBC One's second most watched programme of the week. It has also now been revealed that this story's episode of Doctor Who Confidential, 'Is There Life On Mars?', received a total viewing figure of 0.73 million.
