Doctor Who: The Collection Cover and Details

By Mark
2 Entertain have recently released some details about their upcoming Doctor Who: The Collection box set and the cover for the collection has also now been revealed. The box set will contain a total of twenty three discs which will feature every episode of the show from its first, second, third and fourth series. Starting from 'Rose' and ending with 'Journey's End', the collection will contain over fifty episodes of the programme. This year's specials won't be included in the collection but it's very likely that there will be many special features on the discs to accompany the episodes. You can view an image of this DVD collection's cover here and view more information about the set in general here. This collection is set for release in the United Kingdom and Ireland on the twenty sixth of October and it will go on sale at an RRP of £89.99. Will you be buying this box set when it's released?

Well I probably would have if I was a first-timer. With 3 of the 4 series' box sets under my belt so far, it prob doesn't make much sense. If there were LOADS of bonus goodies unobtainable elsewhere I might be tempted but otherwise common sense must prevail!

Think I'll hang on and wait for the box set of this year's specials.
