Code of the Krillitanes Cover and Details

By Mark
Quick Reads have recently released some information about their upcoming Doctor Who novel for next year and the cover for the publication has now been revealed. The book will be titled 'Code of the Krillitanes' and it will be written by Justin Richards. It will see The Doctor come face to face with the Krillitanes once again and you can view an image of this book's cover above. The publication's official synopsis can be viewed here on this site below;

“I blame those new Brainy Crisps. Since he started eating them, he’s been too clever by half.” Can eating a bag of crisps really make you more clever? The company that makes the crisps says so, and they seem to be right.

But the Doctor is worried. Who would want to make people more brainy? And why? With just his sonic screwdriver and a supermarket trolley full of crisps, the Doctor sets out to find the truth. The answer is scary – the Krillitanes are back on Earth, and everyone is at risk!

Last time they took over a school. This time they have hijacked the internet. Whatever they are up to, it’s big and it’s nasty. Only the Doctor can stop them – if he isn’t already too late... A short, sharp shot of adventure, featuring the Doctor as played by David Tennant in the hit series from BBC Television.

This novel will be released on the fourth of March next year and it will go on sale at an RRP of £1.99. It will contain a total of one hundred and twenty eight pages and it will follow on from the previous four Doctor Who novels released by Quick Reads which are currently on sale. The previous four books are titled; I Am a Dalek, Made of Steel, Revenge of the Judoon and The Sontaran Games. Will you be buying a copy of Code of the Krillitanes when it's released?

    Looks a bit of a ripoff of School Reunion to me.

    Are the book company running out of "old enemies" to use? The Sontarans have been used twice this year, in a boring Quick Read and the brilliant Chelsea 426, while the Krillitanes have already featured in the decent "Storm". And I agree it sounds very like School Reunion, especially dubbed Code of the Krillitanes. Could be ok, or absolutely terrible

    This is wonderful news, and it's lovely that we will still get something with David's Doctor in 2010!

    Thank you for sharing this information! :-)
