Doctor Who The Rising Night Audio Adventure

By Mark
BBC Audio have recently released some information regarding a new upcoming exclusive Doctor Who audio adventure that is set for release next month. The story will be titled 'The Rising Night' and it will be written by Scott Handcock. Michelle Ryan, who played Lady Christina De Souza in the Doctor Who Easter special 'Planet of the Dead', will be the narrator of the story and it's official synopsis can be viewed here on this site below;

The story of a brand new adventure for the Doctor, as played by David Tennant in the hit BBC One series. The TARDIS arrives in an 18th Century village in the Yorkshire Moors, where livestock has been vanishing from the farmland and strange lights have been seen in the skies. Something is very wrong here, and he soon becomes involved in a nightmarish adventure, in which he is helped by a young local woman named Charity. Who is feeding on the blood of the locals, and where will the carnage stop? This story has been written by Scott Handcock exclusively for BBC Audiobooks.

The Rising Night is scheduled for release on the second of July and it will go on sale at an RRP of £9.99. It will see The Doctor helped by Charity, a young woman, and the adventure will have an approximate running time of two hours and thirty minutes. The latest exclusive Doctor Who audio adventure, The Nemonite Invasion, was released earlier this year and you can view more information about that here. Will you be buying this CD when it's released?
