John Barrowman Lands La Cage Aux Folles Role

By Mark
It has recently been revealed that John Barrowman, who plays the role of Captain Jack Harkness in both Doctor Who and Torchwood, will be starring in the West End theatre production of La Cage Aux Folles later this year. He will take on the role of Albin, who has previously been played by Roger Allam and Graham Norton, and will play the role from the fourteenth of September to the twenty eighth of November at London's Playhouse Theatre. La Cage Aux Folles is based on a 1973 French play by Jean Poiret and it tells the story of the relationship between two men who are happily in love. The play has received many awards since it first begun back in 1983 and you can view more information about it here on the production's official website. John Barrowman has appeared in many theatre productions over his acting career and most recently played the lead roles in both Robin Hood and Aladdin. Will you be going to watch John when he stars in this play?
