It has recently been revealed that John Barrowman, who plays the role of Captain Jack Harkness in both Doctor Who and Torchwood, will be starring in the West End theatre production of La Cage Aux Folles later this year. He will take on the role of Albin, who has previously been played by Roger Allam and Graham Norton, and will play the role from the fourteenth of September to the twenty eighth of November at London's Playhouse Theatre. La Cage Aux Folles is based on a 1973 French play by Jean Poiret and it tells the story of the relationship between two men who are happily in love.
