In a recent poll conducted by Wizard, Doctor Who was named the best science fiction television programme of all time. Wizard is an American magazine that is published on a monthly basis and on their official website, they recently named the best twenty five science fiction television shows to coincide with the recent release of the new Star Trek movie. Doctor Who came in the poll's first position and managed to beat other popular science fiction shows such as; Supernatural, Star Trek, Buffy and Lost.
