Russell T Davies, the man who brought Doctor Who back to our screens in 2005, appeared on this morning's edition of BBC Breakfast to help promote and discuss Planet of the Dead. On the show, he was interviewed and revealed that Wilfred Mott, Donna's grandfather who is played by Bernard Cribbins, will be the Doctor's companion for the last two of this year's specials. Planet of the Dead, the next episode of Doctor Who, will air this Saturday at 6:45pm on BBC One. It will have an approximate running time of sixty minutes and a special episode of Doctor Who Confidential will follow on BBC Three at 8:30pm.
