Planet of the Dead's Overnight Ratings

By Mark
According to overnight ratings, last night's Easter special episode of Doctor Who was watched by 8.41 million people which gave the episode an audience share of 39.6%. The episode, Planet of the Dead, was the second most watched programme of the day and it was only beaten by ITV's 'Britain's Got Talent' who received a total audience number of 10.52 million. An additional 184,000 people watched Planet of the Dead on BBC HD and final figures for the episode will be released in ten days time by BARB. It's likely that the episode's final figures will be significantly higher than these overnight ratings and they will be posted here on this site as soon as they become available. What do you think of the overnight ratings for Planet of the Dead's transmission yesterday?

I just wanted to thank you for all your hard work. US fans have a hard time getting good Who and Torchwood info. If it wasn't for you I would have missed out on a lot!
