First K9 Series Trailer
The first official trailer for K9, an upcoming spin-off show from Doctor Who, has recently been uploaded online. It was shown to promote the series at the MIPTV festival in Cannes and has an approximate running time of two minutes and nineteen seconds. The music, titles and voice of K9 are not finalised as of yet and clips of the monsters are being kept under wraps at the moment. You can view the trailer below;
Filming for the series is still currently taking place in Australia and the show is expected to premiere in both Australia and the United Kingdom later this year. The show has been written by Bob Baker, the original creator of K9 back in the 1970's, and more information will be posted as soon as it becomes available. What do you think of this first trailer for K9? Are you looking forward to watching this programme when it broadcasts on television later this year?
I'll be surprised if this lasts more then one series.
And yeah definitely work on the K9 voice.
Apparently, they broke the mold when they made the original K9...too bad.
The wonderful John Leeson is doing the voice and a new trailer is now to be found online.
The show is not a BBC production and therefore cannot be Who canon. It's a kids series and for my money looks and sounds as good as SJA would be IF it didn't have access to all the 2nd hand Who creatures, props and sets. It's new, for a new audience - most of whom have never heard of Doctor Who.
I think it looks cool.
