According to the Edinburgh Evening News, David Tennant is being lined up for a role in an upcoming episode of Taggart. Taggart is a long running detective programme that is both set and filmed in Scotland. It has so far ran for a total of twenty five series and there has currently been ninety seven different episodes of the show transmitted on television. Before taking on the role of The Doctor in Doctor Who, David had auditioned sixteen times for a part in Taggart but had unfortunately never been accepted to play a character on the show. This might all however be about to change and we'll keep you updated if any more information becomes available.
