According to the Daily Record, Lindsay Duncan has been cast as The Doctor's companion for the second of this year's Doctor Who specials. She will apparently play a character called Adelaide who is described in the article as being The Doctor's cleverest and most strong-minded companion yet. The Daily Record's article, which contains apparent quotes from both Lindsay Duncan and Russell T Davies, can be viewed here on their official website. It should be warned however that the casting of Lindsay Duncan is only a rumour at the moment as it hasn't yet been confirmed by the BBC.
