2009 is when everything changes and you’ve gotta be ready. Instead of the usual fourteen episodes, there will only be four one hour long special episodes of Doctor Who this year and in the last special we’ll be introduced to the 11th Doctor. The format of Torchwood is also going to change for the show’s third series and there will only be five one hour long episodes which are scheduled to air over one week in Spring. The Sarah Jane Adventures will also be back this year for a full third series. 2008 was a great year for Doctor Who, Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures. Doctor Who was the most watched programme of the week when Journey’s End aired which is the first time the show has come in that position in all of it’s forty five year history. We were introduced to some new enemies like; the Pyrovile, the Vespiform, the Ghostmaker and Vashta Nerada as well as being re-introduced to some old foes like; Davros, the Daleks, the Sontarans and the Trickster. So what’s in store for this site in 2009? Well, there are plans for many new pages including; a gallery, a video page, a character guide, a competitions page and much more. All of these pages are being worked on at the moment and I hope to bring them to you sometime this year. I’d like to take this time to wish all of my readers a happy new year and thank all of you for visiting my site.

Thanks again for keeping this site so well-updated and bringing us all the news of the Doctor and his companions. I'm looking forward to all the new shows and apprehensive about the 11th Doctor.
