Remembrance Sunday

By Mark
Today, the ninth of November, is Remembrance Sunday. Remembrance Sunday always happens on the second Sunday in November, the Sunday nearest to the eleventh of November, and commemorates those who bravely fought for our country in war. The national ceremony at the Cenotaph started at 10:30am and a two minutes silence will follow at 11am. Rememberance Day itself will take place this Tuesday, the eleventh day of the eleventh month, and a silence will take place at 11am. If there's one thing we can all do today, let it to be to take some time to remember those who fought for our country and helped make the country how it is today.

Rest in peace those brave men and women who helped end the war. The true heroes.
