Doctor Who 2008 Christmas Special Synopsis
The BBC have now released the synopsis for this year's Doctor Who Christmas special which is titled The Next Doctor (Highlight to reveal). The synopsis can be viewed below but please be aware that it contains spoilers regarding the plot and reveals the names of several enemies that appear and feature in the episode;
It's Christmas Eve in 1851 and Cybermen stalk the snow of Victorian London, in this special Christmas edition of Russell T Davies's Bafta Award-winning time-travelling drama. When the Doctor arrives and starts to investigate a spate of mysterious deaths, he's surprised to meet another Doctor, and soon the two must combine forces to defeat the ruthless Miss Hartigan. But are two Doctors enough to stop the rise of the CyberKing?
The episode is written by Russell T Davies and it's likely that it will air on Christmas day as usual however this has not yet been confirmed.
