Children in Need Night 2008

This year's annual Children in Need telethon will start tonight at 7pm on BBC One and many singers including John Barrowman will be performing on stage live to help the charity. Specially recorded scenes from shows such as Ashes to Ashes will be shown and a special preview of this year's Doctor Who Christmas special will air as part of the telethon. Fans will be able to watch the first two minutes of the episode and it's expected that the preview will air between 8:30pm and 9pm. As soon as it becomes available online, the two minute preview will be posted here on this site so don't worry if you miss it. A special Doctor Who, Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures competition for Children in Need was also held earlier this year and you can read more about that here in a previous post. Please note however that the competition has now closed. You can also view more information about Children in Need here and find out how to donate here. If you can, please donate as your money would go to a very worthy cause. Let's hope this year we can raise as much money as possible for Children in Need. Will you be watching the Children in Need telethon tonight?
