Reunion and Regeneration?

By Mark
With no next time trailer to post for Journey's End, I have decided to post two highlights from last night's episode of Doctor Who, The Stolen Earth. You can view the moment where The Doctor and Rose set eyes on other again for the first time since Doomsday and the episode's exciting cliffhanger below;

The Doctor and Rose Meet Again

The Stolen Earth Cliffhanger

In other news the official Doctor Who site have revealed that a bonus trailer for the final episode of Doctor Who series 4, Journey's End, will be shown today on BBC One just before 1pm. It will also be made available on their website shortly after it airs and be posted on here later today. What do you think of the above clips?

    The Stolen Earth was just Fantastic! Why RTD did you have to quit D: Why?!?!? Great Cliffhanger and shame that annoying Dalek appeared out no where :angry: Cant wait for Journey's End.

    What a great blog I've found! :D

    Thoughts on this ep: Was it too much to ask of the universe to let the Doctor and Rose at least say Hello to each other? Really? Really?! It was so cliffhanger-y I couldn't bare it.

    Rose's character seems to have changed, and in a not for-the-better way. She seems a bit hardened and more sour than before. It may be the way Billie Piper is playing Rose, or the way Rose the character herself is changing. Either way, I dislike it.

    Thanks everyone for your comments and welcome to the site TCW. I think the show planned to make Rose different, after all shes spent 2 years on a parallel universe working for Torchwood. That's bound to toughen her up ;)And yeah, it was very cliffhanger-y. :D

    Mark you are spot on about Rose. Everyone is harping on about Rose, but she's had her entire world turned upside down in the last two years. If she had come back the bouncy, happy Rose from series one and two I would have been really upset. I think Billie Piper is playing her the way RTD has written her -- older, wiser, bitter and someone who has seen and survived a lot. Give poor Rose a break.
