The synopsis for the ninth episode of Torchwood Series 2, “Something Borrowed”, has now been revealed. In this episode Gwen and Rhys get married however all is not normal when Gwen becomes impregnated by an alien shapeshifter. Here is the synopsis for “Something Borrowed”;

The night before her wedding, Gwen is juggling work with her hen night, but an encounter with an alien shapeshifter leaves her carrying more than she bargained for, as Doctor Who writer Russell T Davies's award-winning drama continues. As everyone gathers for the ceremony, Jack must destroy her big day, unless one of the three mothers present finds a means to stop him.

“Something Borrowed” will air on BBC2 on the 12th March and is likely to air a week earlier on BBC3. Going behind the scenes of the sci-fi wedding and talking to the stars of the show, the Torchwood Declassified for the episode will air on Thursday 13th March at 7:50pm on BBC2.
