The Sarah Jane Adventures Volume 1 DVD

The cover for the second “The Sarah Jane Adventures” DVD has now been revealed; on the DVD are four episodes, both parts of “Revenge of the Slitheen” and both parts of “Eye of the Gorgon”. Trailers, character profiles and cast’s TV appearances will all feature on the DVD as extras. Here is the synopsis I have made for the DVD;

Its Luke’s first day at school but school isn’t ordinary, there’s something strange about the teachers. It’s down to Sarah Jane, Luke, Maria and their new friend Clyde to investigate alien cases, they encounter many strange monsters including the Slitheen and a Gorgon. Will they save the day or will the aliens plans succeed? Find out by watching The Sarah Jane Adventures.

This DVD will be released on the 18th March at an RRP of £12.99. In other news it was recently confirmed by the BBC that The Sarah Jane Adventures will return for a second series and that there will be 12 episodes, not the originally rumoured 24 episodes. You can see the CBBC press release here. Unfortunately there is still no official word on a boxset for The Sarah Jane Adventures but hopefully there will be one released later this year.

    The DVD isn't being released until 12 January 2009 Actually!!!!!!
