Second Series For Sarah Jane?

After many hints on TV and in interviews, it’s pretty safe to say that The Sarah Jane Adventures will return for a second series. The first series of the show broke many records for the CBBC Channel and received high viewing figures. When asked whether or not there would be a second series Elisabeth Sladen, actress of Sarah Jane Smith, recently told SFX Magazine;

“Yes, we’re doing 24 episodes," she confirms. "I think we start end of March.”

If this is true this is absolutely fantastic news, the first series consisted of 11 episodes (Including the New Year Special “Invasion of the Bane) so for a second series and an extra 13 extra episodes to be commissioned it obviously shows The Sarah Jane Adventures was very popular last year. Of course until there is an official BBC confirmation we can not say for definite that The Sarah Jane Adventures will be back for another series.

    Finally some news about sarah jane adventures, i really enjoyed the first series even though i had to watch it all on youtube , i cant wait for the second series, and this time it won't be basically 5 (2 parter) episodes it is going to be 24 episodes.
