John Barrowman revealed some very exciting news in a recent interview, we now know that our favourite Captain , Captain Jack will be returning to Doctor Who in Series 4. Captain Jack Harkness will be back on our screens next year in Torchwood Series 2 and Doctor Who Series 4. The episodes of Doctor Who Series 4 in which he will appear in aren’t confirmed as of yet.

Here is an extract from the This Is Nottingham Interview;

John : I'm not in the Doctor Who Christmas special, but I come back in Series Four, which starts filming after Christmas. Series Two of Torchwood also starts airing on BBC2 in January.

Learners Tonight

Learners airs tonight on BBC1 at 9pm. Learners is a short film about a woman , Bev, who repeatedly fails her driving test. So she needs help and Chris is the man to help her by being her driving instructor. David Tennant plays Chris and Jessica Hynes plays Bev. David and Jessica previously worked together in Doctor Who Series 3 episodes 8 and 9, Human Nature and The Family Of Blood. David played The Doctor whereas Jessica played Joan Redfern.
Here is a synopsis for Learners;

This warm, bitter–sweet comedy drama follows the trials and tribulations of a group of learner drivers. Bev (Jessica Hynes, Spaced) is a downtrodden wife who has failed her driving test eight times. She's desperate to pass yet frustrated at her husband Ian's (Shaun Dingwall, Doctor Who) impatient approach when teaching her to drive.
When Bev meets glamorous driving school owner Fiona (Sarah Hadland, Confetti), she's determined to succeed, along with a group of other learner drivers.
Chris (David Tennant, Doctor Who), a devout Christian with the patience of a saint, is assigned as her instructor and it's not long before Bev develops a crush on him. However, Chris has feelings for Fiona, but she's having an affair with a married man Gerry, who works with Bev.

As you may know Shaun Dingwall played Pete Tyler, Rose’s dad in Doctor Who. Shaun appears in Learners as Bev’s husband.
