David Tennant is to be in this year’s “Extras” Christmas Special. This isn’t the first comedy show David has appeared in, he also appeared in the Catherine Tate Comic Relief Special as Laurens teacher Mr Logan and is soon to appear in “Learners”.

Doctor Who star David Tennant has landed a role in Ricky Gervais’ hit comedy Extras.
The Scot actor, 36, joins a huge cast of stars for the 80-minute Christmas special.
Bosses are remaining tight-lipped about David’s appearance in the final episode of the award-winning show — but insiders suggest it will be linked to his role as the timelord.
One said: “David’s a huge fan of the show and extremely popular, so we’ve signed him up. He’ll be in good company as we’re lining up some other great names.”
The cast also includes comedians Hale and Pace, former Steps star Lisa Scott Lee and X Factor poser Chico. TV Biz earlier revealed that celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, actor Clive Owen, TV host Vernon Kay and veteran dancer Lionel Blair will also appear.
