Dear All,Thank you so much for all you are doing in raising money for the ACCORD hospice in Paisley which was such an important place to my mum. It is a fantastic and worthy cause and I can't commend it to you strongly enough. The care given there to seriously ill people is of the very highest quality and my family feel indebted to them for all they've done for us.At this difficult time I can't tell you what it means that you are doing this. Thanks to everyone who has been able to make a donation. I promise you, your money will be be well spent.love dt x

Here is what the BBC Doctor Who Site have to say;

David Tennant has thanked online fans who have shown their support following the recent loss of his mother, Helen McDonald.
"I've been touched and thrilled by the amazing response of the online community," David told us. "It means so much to my family and me at this difficult time."
"Many members of the online community were greatly saddened by the passing of David's mother, having been allowed rare glimpses into David's private life in Who Do You Think You Are? and the Doctor Who video diaries," noted fan Sarah Colley, who spearheaded a fundraising appeal. "As soon as we made an announcement, people started to ask what they could do to help."
Fans have now raised several thousand pounds for the ACCORD Hospice, of which Helen was a founding member, and who looked after her during her final days.
An auction is now being planned to raise further funds for the hospice. Follow the link below if you'd like to find out more.

There is also David's Personal "The Impossible Planet" Script , signed by himself and Billie Piper going for auction on ebay. You can bid on this item here. At this moment in time it has managed to raise £1,020.00. 100% of the money will go to the ACCORD Hospice.
I would again like to wish David and his family the best. My condolences are with them at this time. Please continue to raise money as much money as you can fans, you can raise more money here.
