This Years Blackpool Illuminations are set to have a Doctor Who theme, with David Tennant confirmed as the celebrity guest performing the switching on ceremony on 31st August 2007. One of the great attractions of Blackpool's Golden Mile, the illuminations boast six miles of fibre optics, lasers and LED technology, and can be seen until 4th November!

I don't think many peoples eyes will be on the lights their will be a lot of eyes autograph seeking David Tennant!

On my last post in the latest DWM (Doctor Who Magazine) information on the DVD says that the DVD will feature the whole Children In Need Concert of Doctor Who Music, previously broadcast on the BBC's Red Button Service! Looks like my wish has come true.

Fingers crossed i can go and see David turn on the lights at Blackpool!
