In the latest issue of Doctor Who Magazine, Steven Moffat has revealed the names of the writers for this year's upcoming fifth series of Doctor Who. As he's the programme's new head writer, Steven has written the most adventures for the series with a total of six episodes to his name. Chris Chibnall has written a two parter for the season plus Mark Gatiss, Toby Whithouse, Simon Nye, Richard Curtis and Gareth Roberts have all written one story for the 11th Doctor and Amy Pond's first series of adventures. The fifth series of Doctor Who is currently scheduled for transmission on BBC One and BBC HD in Spring later this year and you can view the very first promotional trailer for the season here in a previous post.
