In order to help raise money for Children in Need, John Barrowman took part in a celebrity relay race earlier this year. The journey was split up into six individual sections and six different pairs of celebrities would then complete these different parts of the travel. After each part, they would then pass on the baton to the next pair of celebrities and once completed, all twelve people will have travelled around the world as part of a combined effort. John Barrowman travelled from California to Tennessee for his part of the journey and in total, the distance between the two locations covers over 2,700 miles. Myleene Klass accompanied John for his adventure and a documentary taking a look at their part of the journey will air at 9pm on BBC One tonight.
