More Information : Dr. Owen Harper is the resident medic and second-in-command of the Cardiff branch of the Torchwood Institute. Owen Harper is a trained doctor, who worked as a houseman and aspired to become a surgeon. He was working at Cardiff A&E when he was recruited to join Torchwood. Owen is a genius and that he is very aware of it. Owen also shares a close relationship with his colleague Toshiko Sato, having drinks with her outside work. Owen Harper fell in Love with a woman called Diane from episode 10 of series 1 of Torchwood "Out Of Time" and was heartbroken when she went back through the rift in time and space back to her timezone. Jack was betrayed by Owen when Owen opened the rift in time and space in "End Of Days" causing all sorts of mass destruction. Owen will be back in Torchwood Series 2.
